What is true strength, really?
I was obsessed with Bruce Lee as an undergrad at the University of Washington in Seattle. I lived in a run down old studio apartment in Chinatown, across the street from where he taught martial arts (or so they say.)
I would go to the big bookstore/grocery store a few blocks away and read every book they had on him. I don't know where my obsession came from, other than an inuitive affinity....
A soul connection.
Bruce Lee was my introduction to Taoism as well. I loved the poetically translated version by Stephen Mitchell, who also did some beautiful translations of Rilke's poetry.
“In the Tao Te Ching, Lao-tzu pointed out the value of gentleness. Contrary to belief, the yin principle, which is related with softness and pliability, is to be associated with life and survival.”
Gentleness is the pause that helps you take a moment before reacting with anger or negativity. It takes strength to have that level of gentleness.
Let the idea that gentleness is strength absorb into you.
How can you re-envision gentleness as strength? Where can you flow instead of force?

Manifestation Prompt: Write about your strengths. Refine your visions, and reach inside to find your confidence.
Remember, you are magic ✨
